The original protagonist from my favorite cartoon traveled and made friends from around the world as he worked to develop seemingly supernatural power. This became a model for a life I wanted to live; developing world class athleticism whilst making connections around the world. Independently a wise person once articulated to me, โwhen you are alleviated of responsibilities at home you are free to service the worldโ. When I resigned my home countryโs national governing body at the end of 2024 I didnโt then put into perspective that I was now liberated to exert influence globally without restriction and literally serve The World (Games). In resolving my own athletic ambition I transitioned from growing my own light to shining one on other elite sportspersonsโ journeys from around the world, truly completing my childhood desire to make connections around the world.

After departing from my national team at the end of 2024 I am grateful 2025 allowed me to put a full circle bow on an incredible 17 year handball journey by returning to the indoor discipline I started the sport in ๐
20 years since last being there I returned to Nigeria in February and launched the Naija Ninja Handball Clinic in conjuction with and, an incredible opportunity to pay forward some of the international handball experience I accrued in a camp format similar to ones I attended for basketball and baseball in the US when I was a kid. Afterwards I received an opportunity from to join at the club championships in Vegas, which the team won and subsequently qualified for #IHFClubWCH in Cairo where I got to reconnect with someone from my first international handball comp of
I may not have accomplished what other handball legends accomplished, but my handball experience on and off the court was 1-of-1. 2025 allowed me to complete my handball bucket-list with Egypt marking playing a club handball competition in six continents, and when I made my debut against the European champions I was the only player on the court sporting a shoe with their own likeness on it. In addition to championships I attended every major family handball event (,, ). How many handball players can say they played in every continent, were present at all major competitions, and rocked their own signature shoe? ๐ค
After I delivered the most quintessentially final act I could conceive; creating, collaborating, exchanging experiences, and integrating disciplines with in Portugal.

2025 was filled with more enriching experiences than I can count, and by the top of the list was tapping in at monastery in Gannan with after. En route from Nigeria to the United States I had a 20 hour layover in Istanbul it happened to be on a Saturday where I could dance at into the AM until I headed back to the airport. A. Not going double between the legs on my final shot of the beach handball showcase.
B. Not bringing a pair of skates to skate through the Athlete Village.
After realizing the latter mistake in Paris I said if I were to ever be back in an Athlete Village Iโd bring a pair of skates to get around and am grateful provided me that opportunity.
