There is something so hopeful and bright about spring and I could never have dreamt of the floral magic created for our day. I’ve been super lucky to photograph Lucy’s work around the world for our gorgeous clients and will forever feel *enormously* grateful to have had the teams talent sprinkled across on our own wedding day.
When we first chatted, we knew we wanted the flowers to be a burst of happiness looking quite at home in the already blooming grounds of Babington (the daffys had just popped!)…. and the weather at that time of the year could have graced us with almost anything so we designed for sunshine as well as snow!
Packed with some of our spring favourites… anemones, narcissi, ranunculus and tulips all in soft white, pink and lilac pastels… as well as eucalyptus for a nod to James’s time living in Australia. For dinner, alongside ’s yummy tableware, we also added snakeshead fritillary, sweet peas and hellebores… my heaven!!
Thank you Lucy for saying yes and to for bringing everything together and making the orangery completely sparkle! The next morning when it was all gone, we really did wonder whether it was all a dream 🤍

Today with; Nina worked closely with designer Stewart Parvin and fell in love with his style and vision. Nina also included several meaningful flourishes. “Inside the dress my ‘something blue’ was a blue bow, as well as an evil eye bead,” she explains. “This was a nod to my Armenian heritage, and to carry protection with me on our special day. My ‘something old’ was the buttons from my mother’s wedding dress designed by designer Lyn Ashworth. They were taken off the back of her dress and sewn into mine.”
