No notifications.
No traffic.
No noise.
Just stars, silence, and a reminder that some of the best views happen after dark.

And getting out of bed for a sunrise flight is almost never the easy choice for me…
But, when I do get up early, launch the drone, and watch the first light hit the trees…
I am reminded why it’s worth getting up.
Castle Danger Brewery is one of those places.
Good beer.
Good views.
Super family friendly
And amazing pizza at Northshore Pizza Cafe, just a couple of blocks away.
Some of the best parts of Minnesota are found when you slow down enough to enjoy them.
Have you been here yet?
Frozen lakes.
Fresh snowfall.
Most people stay inside.
We’re usually outside filming or launching a drone.
There’s something about seeing Minnesota from above that never gets old.
The forests feel bigger.
The lakes feel endless.
And even familiar places look like somewhere you’ve never been before.
What’s your favorite season for outdoor adventure?
On a recent hike to a waterfall along the North Shore, we were reminded why we keep coming back. As we stood listening to the rushing water, we heard a thought that stuck with us: if there were no rocks in a waterfall’s path, it wouldn’t look or sound the way we know it does. The beauty, the power, and the unmistakable roar all come from the obstacles it encounters along the way.
Maybe life works the same way.
The challenges, setbacks, and unexpected turns in our path can feel frustrating in the moment, but they often shape us into who we become and create some of our most meaningful experiences.
That’s one reason we love hiking Minnesota’s North Shore. The trails, the forests, the rugged Lake Superior shoreline, and the hidden waterfalls are a reminder that the journey, and the obstacles along the way, are often what make the destination worth it.
What water fall is your favorite?
Because we kept choosing to face what we didn’t want to pass down.
It can feel like everything that happened to you gets the final say.
The harmful family system.
The fear.
The shame.
The control.
The survival mode.
The version of you that had to adapt, just survive.
That all shapes our story. But, those things don’t get to own the ending.
At some point, healing starts to become less about making sense of why it happened and more about asking....
What kind of life are we building now?
What happened to you may not have been your fault.
The pain you had to carry may not have been fair.
The patterns you inherited may not have started with you.
But the life you build from here, IS your responsibility.
It doesn’t happen all at once.
But in the quiet choices you make moving forward.
Healing isn’t just about recovering from the past.
It’s also about taking ownership of the future you’re creating.
Its about about asking yourself questions like...
What values am I wanting to align my life to.
What do I want my kids to grow up normalizing.
It’s the choice to keep choosing growth.
We’re making a conscious choice to keep healing and aligning our life to our values.
If you’re in the depth of navigating out of dysfunction and into alignment, we want you to know that you’re not alone.
It’s hard, but…
It’s worth it.
Not because talking to myself while trying to thread a flying camera through a scene. But because I’m experiencing the pay out of 1,000 of hours practice. From Inside my goggles...
I’m seeing motion.
Light and dust.
Timing and distance.
Risk and story.
Every little movement changes the feeling of the shot.
And for a few seconds, it feels like I’m flying through a version of life I never saw coming.
That’s what FPV has become for me.
Not just a tool in filmmaking, but a way to create the kind of perspective I used to only dream about.

Do you have a place that does something to you?
Not just a place you remember. A place you feel.
For me, that place is...
Montana!
It holds a lot of memories for me.
But the ones that stayed with me most were never the loudest.
They were the quiet ones.
The stillness.
The distance.
The rugged beauty.
And for some reason, this edit captured Montana more like how
feel it than how I see it.
When the color was gone, the image feels quieter.
Less like footage.
And more like memory.

What would the healed version of me do here?
Not the triggered version.
Not the scared version.
Not the version still trying to prove they’re enough.
Not the version making decisions from survival mode.
The healed version!
The version of you that knows their worth.
The version of you that doesn’t chase what costs them peace.
The version of you that can pause before reacting.
The version of you that chooses alignment over approval.
The version of you that doesn’t need to become someone else.
And that doesn’t mean you’re fully healed.
It doesn’t mean you have it all figured out.
It doesn’t mean you won’t still have hard days, old patterns, or moments where the past feels louder than the future.
It just means you start practicing from the place you’re trying to grow into.
Because every time you make a decision from that version of yourself, you become a little more like them.
Growth isn’t just what you believe…
It’s what you practice.
So maybe the next chapter isn’t about pretending the past didn’t matter.
Maybe it’s about honoring what it taught us, while making room for a life that feels more like our own.
One decision at a time.
It’s hard…
But it’s worth it.
Not polished for the sake of looking pretty.
Not overproduced to hide the work.
Just real machines.
Real operators.
Real job site energy.
The kind of footage that makes people stop scrolling because it feels bigger than a normal workday.
That’s what great video should do.
It should take the work your company already does and make people feel the scale, the trust, the experience, and the pride behind it.
Because the right visuals don’t just show equipment.
They show capability.
