I get asked a lot about my frittatas so here’s what I did today:
* sautéed portobello mushrooms in low sodium chicken broth until it was all absorbed, and the mushrooms were a golden brown
* sautéed chopped spinach until all the water was gone
* folding them into 10 well beaten eggs and poured into a springform cheesecake pan that is lined with parchment paper
* top with freshly chopped basil leaves, then a layer of grated cheddar cheese, cracked black pepper, then sweet ripe cherry tomatoes cut in half and more pepper
* baked in oven at 350 degrees for about 40 mins or until the top of the cheese slightly starts to turn brown
* take out of pan and cool on rock for about 10 minutes removing parchment paper so the frittata doesn’t get soggy
And there you have lots of veggies to get your day started!
I also used low sodium bacon.
The delicious frozen croissants were purchased at the best place in The Junction, ♥️ and so easy to bake, you’ll look like a genius!

But……
It’s an easy fix, right out of the shower to avoid separating your curls and creating frizz.
What to use:
Single prong, metal haircutting clips; nothing expensive or fancy.
Clip Pattern:
• Horizontally across your part, leaving out front hairline, from front to behind your crown.
How to Insert Clips:
• turn clip on it’s side
• pinch a small amount of hair at your root
•at a 45 degree angle or less, slide front tip of clip along your scalp where you’re pinching your root and lower your clip as you do this
• the more clips and smaller amount of hair, the faster your drying time
Pro Tips:
• you want to put your clips in right out of the shower because your body heat will dry your roots very quickly
• if your roots dry flat, they will stay that way
• if you need extra boosting at your roots, you can apply a firm hold gel near your roots at your scalp for extra hold during the day, even if you use a curl cream on your ends
• if your curls droop during the day, you can tip your head upside down and massage your roots only to avoid frizzing your ends
All hair gets volume from the roots, especially curly hair!
You should be able to get these clips at any Beauty Supply store that sells to the public.
Metal ones are the best as they have a firmer grip.

1) Speed up your drying process;
Use warm air and no diffuser.
Use a low pressure/speed setting.
Aim your blow dryer from your roots to your ends, smooothing out your curls as you dry.

If you’re not loving the products that you’re using now and you switch to a new one if you have buildup on your curls
it will keep attracting more gunk onto your curls, even with the new products.
The solution?
Clarifying your hair occasionally to make sure there’s no buildup or pollution and clarifying if you’re switching to a new product.
You may also need to do a hard water/mineral removal treatment to get the crusty stuff off your curls that can make them frizzy, dehydrated and crunchy.
