Es un coche complicado de llevar, que no me daba buen 'feeling' en entrada de curva, y hoy en día, en la F1 si no tienes confianza en entrada de curva con el tren trasero es muy difícil ir rápido. Me costó encontrar el 'set-up' del coche, pero creo que al final de curso conseguí rematar el año y demostrar mucho mejor mi potencial", ha relatado Sainz sobre el RS18. Pues este monoplaza es el que ha pilotado hoy Fernando.
Lo bueno es que ese coche es bastante rápido. "No estaba a más de 1 segundo por vuelta que los coches que llevamos este año, así que le va a impresionar igual como le impresionó en Barcelona cuando volvió a subirse a un coche de F1"
