Over the last month I have been on a whirlwind tour and if I'd known 15 years ago when I found out I was coeliac, that I would have been able to eat this WELL I would have been shocked.

Brussels was more difficult but we were lucky to find for delicious arepas!! Pretty much 100% GF

A meat plate, a cheese plate (alllll GF) and then a gf tiramisu - worth a trip to Casorzo (Piemonte) just for this - 🩷✨ make sure to stay with the amazing Silvia at - the last picture is the views from there ✨

🎖️ For all of your in town cocktail, picky bits including fried pieces of onion - they also have a fully gluten free roast 🩷. Big recommendation if you're looking for a hen party vibe and one of you is coeliac. This was an invite but it was good! Pics 2 & 3.
🎖️ For the best pub grub I've ever eaten, head out of town to Balerno for the - gluten free STICKY TOFFEE & fish and chips. Pics 3&4.

It's not the easiest place to eat, so will require some planning BUT there are two 100% GF bakeries, a 100% GF traditional restaurant, lots of naturally GF Vietnamese and Venezuelan food 🩷
Pic 1 - I stayed in Karlin to be close, for a bagel and pastry - it's a 100% GF bakery, with a small selection of sweet and savoury cakes and sandwiches/bagels
Pic 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - My favourite place just a 15 min tram from Karlin is the most well stocked GF bakery I have seen, beautiful cakes, pastries and sandwiches. I picked up sandwiches for lunch here each day and made sure to try a bunch of the cakes and pastries
Pic 7 & 8 - if you fancy trying to traditional Czech food head to - I tried the chicken schnitzel and a goulash - both delish, be warned the portions are huggeee

What food have you been missing out on? For me it's always fresh bread, udon and pasta and I have the answer here for youuuuuu
Head to Elie for a beautiful coastal walk and there's a sauna right next to the sea if you fancy a dip.
Once you're all walked or swam out, there is an incredible pub a 10 minute drive away serving some of the best food I've had in Scotland.
has a brilliant selection of gluten free food, including and most importantly - home made gluten free bread.
Most of what was on the menu could be adapted, I had bread and a Tamworth ham plate to start, duck breast for main and a chocolate pot for dessert - the bottom of the pot was caramel 😭. It's not often that you'll find a gastropub that is so accommodating.

Serving GLUTEN FREE PIZZA from Thursday - Saturday and a range of crepes, pão de queijo, feijoada pancakes, pittas, brunch AND cakes. As well as being GF there is also an excellent selection of vegan and vegetarian options too 🤘

Really quite enjoyed the as most of the beers as GF and they even had a Guinness type vibe that was GF 🍺🍺🍺- their non alcs actually really nice too if that's your thing
I actually don't think we've got a safe pizza in Edinburgh ATM, so when started doing GF Romanas I had to go. They are massive, they're great and they're super convenient if you need something quick and safe
