This experience has given me an interesting love-hate relationship with food.. 🍔
🙌🏻The highs: mental clarity, strong-willed discipline, confidence. Waking up knowing I did the work (diet, gym, yoga, meditation).
❌The lows: low energy days on 1 meal a day. Hunger tests. Social sacrifices (I don’t tend to meet up with people who drink, smoke and eat unhealthy).
I’ve been called “I look disgusting” too, but it’s cool 👌🏻.
This is not a flex post, but simply a checkpoint in life.
I don’t subscribe to the “you only live once” to justify eating crap.
Often, what may taste delicious is actually harmful to the gut, while negatively affecting cognitive clarity and other organs.
This phase taught me control, patience, and respect for my body.
