Family friendly, informative and such a fun afternoon/evening out.
From nature tours in a vintage land rover and conservation focused safaris to camel rides, henna painting, sunset and falcon show and dinner in an authentic Bedouin setting. It’s always so lovely to experience the Emirati hospitality and to try the delicious local food (we had a four course meal and did not leave hungry!)
We really enjoyed experiencing Dubai in this way and it’s a must if you’re visiting Dubai or live here. Special shout out to our guide Lionel who collected us from home and was with us the whole day right through to dropping us home in the evening - sharing all his knowledge with us and making sure Max had the best time too!
We chose the evening heritage safari and opted for the private vehicle 🙏🏻

- Slip tint - magic product for when you need a little base - nourishing with light coverage and doesn’t clog the pores 🙏🏻
- Hyaluronic acid serum - the best I’ve tried! Keeps skin nourished and moisture locked in 💦
- clarifying face mask - I love how this product firms the skin as well and cleaning the pores. Lovely scent too 🩵
- Gentle cleansing gel - a beautiful product which I use for the second cleanse. Foams nicely and leaves the skin soft 🩵
1 cup warm water
1 cup maple syrup (or honey)
1/3 cup gelatine (I use or )
2 tsp vanilla
1. Line a tray or two loaf moulds with parchment paper and grease the paper with a little coconut oil.
2. Divide the warm water between two cups. Add the gelatine to one cup and whisk briefly. Set aside
3. Add the other cup of water to a pan and add the maple syrup. Whisk and bring to a simmer over a medium heat for 8 minutes.
4. Add the cup containing water and gelatine to a large mixing bowl and using an electric hand whisk or stand alone whisk, start beating the mixture. Add the water syrup very slowly whilst whisking until all is incorporated.
5. Whisk on high for around 10 minutes. It should create a fluffy mixture. Now add the vanilla and whisk for a few more minutes.
6. Now add the mixture to the greased sheets and pat down with damp fingers to even out
7. Refrigerate for at least an hour. Turn out onto a cutting board and cut into even squares. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for around three days.

1 cup freshly squeezed juice (here I made orange & lemon and also grape)
6 tablespoons of grass fed gelatin (I used )
3 tablespoons sweetener (honey or maple syrup)
Pour juice and sweetener into a sauce pan over a low heat and add gelatine. Whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes until full dissolved (don’t boil). Pour liquid into silicon moulds and refrigerate for 30 mins. Store in an airtight container in fridge for up to three days.
This process accelerates the transport of toxins, excess fluid and stagnant lymph by boosting blood circulation. Skin in this area will appear tighter and lifted with continued use.
