I often reflect on my goals and aspirations as an artist, always trying to set higher standards and new borders to cross. But honestly, composing a soundtrack for a series wasn’t even on the list, simply because I never thought it could actually happen.
So now that it did… I guess it’s time to write a new list:-)
I’m beyond honored to have worked on this incredible project called “Terrazza Sentimento.” It’s been a unique chance to bring my musical vision to the darker side of a world that, from the outside, often looks all about money, beauty, and youth: just like our electronic music scene sometimes does.
And it was a privilege for me to share this journey with one of the most talented producers out there — and above all, a dear friend — such as.
I’m also proud to see that music originally made for dancefloors and played in clubs all around the world, like “Point Break” (slide 3) and “Piccerè” (slide 4), became part of the soundtrack. It proves that a certain kind of electronic music truly has no borders and can find its proper space, a new life, even outside the club scene.
Massive thanks to the one and only for making it all happen, to the boss for believing in me since day one, to for always being on point, and to the whole team for the constant support during production.
Now take a moment and enjoy the series, which is today sitting at number 1 between the most watched series in Italy by the way. It’s really worth it!
