Now onto my family… a special shout out to my brother Matt for helping me get pumped up before my race by sending me Kenny Powers videos. Also to my sister-in-law Morgan for picking me up almost every Saturday practice and taking me to get Boba tea. That honestly motivated me to go to every Saturday practice. And thank you to David and his girlfriend Raquel for partying with me around Europe after the games. This really meant a lot considering I had no life for the past six months. And last, but certainly not least my mother and father. Without my father, I wouldn’t be the tough bad ass that I am today, and securing Team USA‘s first gold medal at the games. And to my iconic mother who I think got more screen time than me lol, is honestly one of the main reasons why I’m standing on the top of that podium. She is by far the most supportive person in my life, so much so that it drives me nuts sometimes, but I love her more than life itself. With all that being said, God Bless America and Go Team USA!!!!
