I’ll never forget the first time I smelled the entire city-exclusive line from Le Labo. It was on my son’s birthday, two years ago. 🥳 We drove out of town to buy him a Japanese Cheesecake, but to our surprise …the bakery had already closed down early for the day, due to some regulations for COVID-19. 😷 It was also during a big heatwave, and the temperature outside was well over 100 degrees, so I talked my kids into chillin’-out at Nordstrom with me for a bit to smell some fragrances. 😅 That’s when we made our way to the Le Labo counter and learned all about the exclusive line of perfumes they only sell in select cities around the world, and only once a year (throughout the month of September) at Nordstrom. 🙌
The projection of this Inspired Expression is enormous, the sillage is very strong, and the longevity is extremely long lasting. 👍 Personally, I enjoy the dry down the most …but the overall wearing experience is incredible. This is a fantastic tobacco scent, and it smells exactly how I remember the original from Le Labo - smoky, seductive, and absolutely alluring. 👌 I think 28 Shades of Tabacum would appeal most to those who are middle-aged and up, and the best time to wear it would be during formal occasions (especially at night or on a cooler evening). 🍹

Halloween Man X is described as an addictive cocktail that awakens the senses and acts as an olfactory hook that draws you in. “Explore your limits.” 👊😎
What initially turned me on to this fragrance was hearing about its so-called “Black Jack” accord — a unique combination of Whiskey, Roasted Coffee and Leather. 🥃 ☕️ Unfortunately, for me, I don’t quite pickup on much of that until it begins to dry down. Which is great, when I do finally smell it, I just wish that it was a bit more noticeable and unapologetic. 🤪
Even though the projection and sillage are a bit moderate with this one, the longevity seems to be pretty long lasting. 👌 Overall, this is a very appealing and easy to wear fragrance for men. It’s a very good value for the price, and after finally smelling it …I think it would appeal more to the younger crowd rather than those who are middle-aged and up. 👌 It could be worn day or night, but I think the best times to wear this one would be casually and during the evening. 😉

When I first heard about this fragrance, I remember some reviewers were saying that it smelled a lot like Sangria — a delicious fruit-based wine / “punch” …traditionally made with red wine, seasonal fruit, and a bit of sparkling water or citrus-flavored soda. 🍷

I’ve always been a bit of a wine collector and connoisseur, so as soon as I found a good deal on this fragrance …I knew I had to buy it. ☺️ I’m sure you can imagine just how pleased I was when I finally got to smell this one. The rumors were absolutely true, and this festive fragrance eventually became my scent-of-choice for my wine tasting adventures. 🍇
