It gives us immense pleasure to share the successful completion of the One Week National Level Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Artificial Intelligence: Concepts and Applications in Multidisciplinary Domains, organized by the Department of Computer Engineering & Information Technology, G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET), CVM University, from 15th–20th June 2026.
The FDP witnessed enthusiastic participation from 64 faculty members, researchers, students, and professionals representing various institutes across Gujarat, reflecting the growing interest in Artificial Intelligence and its multidisciplinary applications.
Throughout the week, participants benefited from insightful sessions delivered by renowned experts from academia and industry. The speakers shared their expertise on the latest trends and advancements in AI, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, AI-driven research, and emerging applications across diverse domains.
The program provided an excellent platform for knowledge sharing, interdisciplinary collaboration, and discussions on how AI is transforming education, research, industry, and society.

Nearly 25 years ago, began the journey of G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology, popularly known as GCET. It started as a dream but eventually became a legacy, a legacy of producing world-class ENGINEERS. GCET feels proud to have gained the 23rd rank amongst the top 100 engineering colleges of India. It feels more proud to have a vital role in building the lives of thousands of students…
GCET not only provides students a place to study, but also to gather sweet memories of college life that will stay with them forever. Initially, GCET was affiliated with Sardar Patel University till 2008. Later on, the institute got affiliated with Gujarat Technological University from 2008 to 2019. At present, GCET is a constituent college of newly formed CVM University.
It has been a long journey, but also a great one. This video is a glimpse of the journey of GCET through all its years. This is just the beginning for celebration of the Silver Jubilee, as GCET is approaching the completion of 25 glorious years!
