1. a new googler
2. someone operating within a 30-meter snack radius at all times
Some office snips and highlights, in no particular order:
• beautiful walks to work by pembroke row
• not-so-hot-take: yum and craggy’s probs my top two restaurants on campus
• unexpectedly catching a christmas a cappella en route team meeting
• new tech, and a failed ASMR unboxing attempt (music overlay for damage control)
• watching elite black friday fits around the office
• working from any building, any floor, with impeccable views
• doggosss on campussss (macchiato 🫶🏼)
• noogler 12 pubs crawl, a wholesome Irish rite of passage involving exactly twelve pubs

Here’s a little snip from my first two days in Dublin, staying at this chic hotel built for googlers, where the staff made me feel like it was my first “home” in the city 🥹
Have been here for 3 weeks now and will share more in upcoming posts: gear up for *plenty* tech bro content flooding your feed 🤙🏼
jk, i’ll never be that consistent 😭
On a different note, if your career path hasn’t been linear either, this one’s for you ~
Mine went from strategy consulting in Dubai, to becoming a full-time “creatorpreneur” back when that word barely existed, to doing an MBA because I wanted a stronger business foundation beyond just my content work (still one of the big loves of my life), to unexpectedly falling in love with tech because the fast pace and innovation reminded me so much of entrepreneurship; where the people were not just sharp but incredibly kind. Then landing this role, which feels more aligned than anything I could have planned.
So here’s me saying: it’s okay to make unconventional choices if they’re true to your inner compass. Choose the wilder way. Choose the journey over the destination. The dots will connect.
As one of my favourite Greek poems, Ithaka, goes; with the writer’s message to Odysseus, our hero, as he begins his long voyage home ~
“As you set out for Ithaka
hope your road is a long one
full of adventure, full of discovery…
And if you find her poor, Ithaka won’t have fooled you.
Wise as you will have become, so full of experience,
you’ll have understood by then what these Ithakas mean.”

before IESE, whenever alumni from five or ten years ago insisted these would be the best two years of my life, I refused to believe them. I always thought, no way you peaked that early, and how are you still saying that a decade later. I was sure I wouldn’t join that club.
fast-forward to now. a few months out, diploma in hand, new job, new country (story for another day) - and I fully get it! they truly were the best two years of my life.
not just because they were FUN (i mean, who wouldn’t want to travel the world with their batchmates or live in barcelona for two years), but because of how deeply transformative they were. the challenges pushed me to uncover parts of myself I didn’t even know existed. more than what I learned, it was about who I became.
recently, I’ve been getting a few questions about the real value of an MBA, which makes complete sense in a world where AI can teach you almost anything. so I’m thinking of doing a small series called “MBA Recap” -
pre-recorded, unpolished, raw clips from my time at school, sharing the stuff you won’t find in FT rankings or glossy LinkedIn posts. the good, the bad, and the parts no one talks about. unsolicited thoughts, learnings and advise rooted in lived experience, which I’m hoping ai is still far from replacing
let me know if that sounds interesting - i might put it together this winter! definitely open to better name suggestions 🙃
until then, stay golden

In that moment, I recalled these words, “sometimes the desire to be lost again, as long ago, comes over me like a vapour.” I felt an urge within me so deeply - to live the most free life possible. To dive with wild sharks or camp alone on a remote sandbar, as I once did, on a regular basis haha.
You see, I idolise people like or. They inspired my journey into travel vlogging. I realise, what draws me most to them are their core values – of living freely, acting courageously, wanting to “feel alive” more than anything else. So I asked myself, am I free now? Am I brave?
I reflected on this quite a bit on the journey back to Finland (we caught the lights in Sweden btw). While scrolling Instagram (as one does at 3 am), I stumbled upon another set of words by Albert Camus, that I believe to be some of the most beautiful lines in all of literature. He says, “The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”
It struck me - I don’t need extreme adventures to feel “free” or “brave” or “alive.” These values matter to me deeply, but I have to find ways to weave them into my daily life - in deciding how I choose to live it! What purpose I dedicate my time to. How fiercely I love and how I boldly I protect the path that I believe to be mine, regardless of what the society perceives to be right or wrong.
And I’d much rather rebel and rage in the pursuit of my personal heaven, to live a life that is unapologetically true to me, than settle for one that remains a wistful dream glimpsed from distant window seats ✨

I read somewhere that,
“Art is not a mirror to show reality,
Art is a hammer to change society.”
I don’t mean to sound boastful at all, but THIS is the kind of art I always wanted to make.
This is the kind of art that steers my soul to create.
This is the kind of art that liberates me.
That sets me free!
Free of pain. Free of shame. Free of people’s judgement.
This isn’t just a fashion film for me.
This is me reaching out to thousands of girls who have felt the same way.
Who have been frowned upon for not just their clothing choices but for things like - having an opinion and voicing it out. For being driven and ambitious. For something as simple as drinking or apparently as outrageous as sleeping around. Things that a man would hardly even be questioned for!
I have been really lucky to have parents that have been so supportive of everything that I do, who have been so liberal and equal in their approach, who have allowed me to be my own thinker and doer!
But even then, I have been subjected to these “judgements” by society at large. (By that, I don’t just mean strangers on the internet!)
And I know I can’t be the only one.
So I’m talking directly to you now.
You, who has been labelled,
by the pictures you share,
as a slut or even a prude.
I feel you.
Because everything you do is an invitation for their condemnation,
regardless of the depth of your shirt’s neck,
marked down on their scale from zero to lose.
Let me make this clear,
You don’t need to HIDE or REBEL, because
IT’S NOT ON YOU!
And if there’s anything that needs to change,
It’s their THOUGHTS and their POINT OF VIEW!

There I was, standing in the courtyard of a castle that had preserved its opulence over the past 300 years
An impressive canon to my left, royal Rajput paintings to my right, and as I looked up at the sky, I saw a canopy of… well, kites! Haha.
Something as rudimentary and raw as a piece of paper tied to a thread flying above this grand palace struck something inside me.
You see, to me, the act of flying a kite symbolized so much more.
It took me back to those few fleeting moments when I would fly them as a kid and felt that it's not just the kite fluttering in the sky, but also my thoughts, my dreams, my soul, me myself…. flying high through that colorful rhombus!
I know this sounds cheesy but maybe that's exactly why this act brings out that inner kid in you who knows no logic.
Funnily enough, as I thought about it more, it also made me realize what I wanted the Season 2 of Brown Girl Wardrobe to be about!
So in a very self-important fashion, let me raise a virtual toast as this season kicks off haha.
Here’s to flying kites and keeping the inner child in you alive.
Here’s to chasing freedom.
Here’s to breaking out of our shackles, no matter how grand or scrimpy they might be, to carve our own path.
Here’s to living our dreams and making it big - whatever that may mean for us.
Here's to flying high and reaching new heights.
Here’s to letting ourselves UNHINGE!:)

This video is special to me for so many reasons.
I’m wearing my mom’s jewellery which is just as beautiful as her (okay, actually a tad less)!
It’s shot at my own home, which meant, Diwali came early for us with all the diyas and decor.
And I’ve collaborated with an amazing label - ETHMO by Maitri, who not only makes such exquisite, hand-embroidered outfits, but also, intricately weaves a story into every garment of hers, the way I like doing with my videos.
Whether it’s drawing inspiration from tribal culture with the ornate lotus, peacock and deer motifs or carefully capturing the colours that seep through when the first ray of sun hits water - you not only LOOK great wearing her pieces, but also FEEL great once you know the tale they tell.
Check her out for some splendid festive attires for any special occasion!
Pulling this one off wasn’t easy, but I loved every minute of it! I mean how could I not enjoy getting ready for a make-believe Diwali party and then actually attending it hahahh. I reallyy hope you guys like it.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments? And if you’d like to see more such festive videos! I’d love to know ♥️
