As part of the Berlin Transatlantic Composers Workshop, BAAM welcomes the internationally acclaimed Trio Brontë to Berlin for an evening of chamber music spanning continents, generations, and musical languages.
Founded in Berlin in 2022, the ensemble — violinist Chiara Sannicandro, pianist Lili Bogdanova, and cellist Annie Jacobs-Perkins — has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting young chamber groups in Europe, praised for performances of extraordinary sensitivity and intensity.
The program features works by Jennifer Higdon, Michael Fine, Bill Anderson, Xiaowen Lei, and Robert Schumann — bringing together contemporary American voices, new music, and the Romantic tradition in a program reflecting the transatlantic spirit of BAAM.
The evening also includes a pre-concert conversation with the artists and composers.
