The good people at invited me to vote vote for this years’ Best Dressed Men List. Head over to the website to see who made the cut this year, but - spoiler alert - I got to chance to write about the super stylish!
All of a sudden I’m looking forward to winter because I get to wear this parka.

It has all the details you’d hope a great duck down parka would have - super warm, deep pockets, rib-knit cuffs, chunky zip, drawstring waist and hood - and it’s incredibly light.

What I also love is that its relaxed fit makes it great for layering.

One word of warning though, if you’re not comfortable discussing clothes with complete strangers, avoid this coat.

It literally is an icebreaker.

I can’t tell you the number times someone has come up to me checking out this parka. I can’t blame them - I’m sure I’d do the same if I saw it for the first time.

Kudos to for coming up with their own version of a mid-century modern classic.

I was super happy to be on the cover of - summer edition.

But I’m also happy about the way something which begun as a ‘what if’ conversation initiated by manifested into a really great collaboration - and this cover was kind of a confirmation of that.

It also confirms what a great photographer is - seriously one of my fav photographers to work with.

Major thanks to and who also worked on the shoot - totally a team effort!

Inside the magazine I was interviewed by none other than dressed immaculately - as ever - in the second image above.

I’m the interview, I explain why I love Preppy, why Black Ivy style so important and why I think these deck shoes embody some of the Black Ivy ethos.

There’s also more images by.

In my bio, you’ll find a link to the website where you can take a closer look at the shoes themselves if you’re up for it.
This is unquestionably one of the greatest breaks of all time! (I’m referring to the song, of course). *Original shaggy dog sweater courtesy of
Bumped into the extremely talented the other day.

He’s the gentleman who art directed this shoot working alongside stylist on Document, a series of beautiful bespoke publications they did together.

This particular volume focused on and featured a ton of people including Hiroki Nakamura of,,, …and me.

The limited edition book explored everything from Timberland’s popularity among the Paninari in the 80s to how the brand also manage to transcend trends and remain relevant on menswears cultural landscape.

Talking of landscapes, it’s hard to imagine that these photographs were shot over 10 years ago. Time flies.
I’ll admit it - I’m not what you’d call a pool player, I’m more like a pool poser 🤣

Took these pics in one of my fav places in London, figured it was a good place to show off these shaggy dog sweaters from.

Like the Edition, these sweater are both traditional and totally modern.

They’re an essential part of the Ivy style wardrobe, and another reason you’ll never hear me complain about the winter.

I love that they’re available in a ton of colours.

Their classic design means you can wear the most popping colours and still look relatively understated.

Why Harley?

Let’s just say Harley of Scotland are to the shaggy dog sweater what Levi’s is to jeans and what Rolex is to the sub.

IYK,YK and definitely know.
Notes by Jason Jules on: The Utility Jacket.

“It’s based on a classic hunting jacket, but it’s been recalibrated for the modern city. I love the corduroy detailing on the collar and cuff and the generous pockets. It’s so easy to wear and in terms of functionality it scores a perfect 10.”

If you haven’t already, check out the new collection Labrum have done for.

I was there a week or so ago, the first day it hit the shop floor in fact and while it’s not exactly a denim collection - there’s some beautiful knitwear and tailoring in the mix - it’s the sort of contemporary casual collection that puts many of todays established denim labels to shame.

So often it seems these brand are focused on one type of customer - a kind of latter day Lad - but this collection feels way more interesting and complex and open.

The silhouettes, the colourways, the graphic design - all show, by contrast, how safe so many denim brands have become over the past few years.

Fods, Labrum’s founder and creative director, deserves a lot of respect for this bold collection as do. #trendingatjl #johnlewis
