また、本展を共同主催いただいた五割一分様をはじめ、開催にあたりご協力いただいたジェフリー・バワ財団、Phantom Hands、会場をご提供いただいたVague Archives様にも、厚く御礼申し上げます。

今回のジェフリー・バワ展のために来日いただいた、チャンナ、ディーパック、アパルナに心より感謝申し上げます。
ある日の夕食の席で、チャンナが語ったジェフリー・バワとの思い出は、書籍には残らないような小さくもかけがえのないものでした。一緒に過ごした時間の空気、バワの人柄、そしてチャンナ自身がどれほど大きな影響を受けてきたか。そのひとつひとつの話から、バワという人物が少しずつ立ち上がってくるような感覚がありました。実際に当時を知る人の声で、その時代の断片に触れられることは、本当に貴重な経験だと思います。
その土地に足を運び、当時を知る人たちと出会い、物語に触れていくことが、私たちの活動を支える大切なことだと、CASA DEとしてあらためて実感しています。
また、ディーパックとアパルナと時間を過ごすなかで、彼らが何を感じ、何を大切にし、今回のジェフリー・バワの家具再生産プロジェクトに向き合っているのか、話を伺うことができました。その対話を通して強く感じたのは、デザインへの深い敬意と、好きなことに情熱を持って真摯に取り組む姿勢です。誰も成し得なかったことに挑むには、勇気と情熱の両方が必要です。彼らの作品を日本で紹介する機会をいただいていることに、あらためて感謝しています。
会期前半を終え、すでに多くの方にご来場いただいておりますこと、心より御礼申し上げます。金曜日から再びオープンいたしますので、まだお越しいただけていない方も、再び足を運んでくださる方も、会場でお会いできるのを楽しみにしております。引き続きどうぞ宜しくお願いいたします。
