Gallaudet University brought home four all-conference honors with one Bison landing on the first team, one on the second team and two on the third team.
First year Sevan Ikeda (Fremont, Calif.) won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15 minutes and 23,95 seconds and finished second in the 1,500-meter run (4:15.61) as he earned two all-conference honors.
Junior Andrae’ Green (Washington, D.C.) earned all-conference third team honors in the triple jump (13.26 meters) while junior Andrew Suarez (Fairview, Texas) joined Green on the third team for his top throw of 43.08 meters in the hammer. Last year, both Green and Suarez were on the second team in their respective events. #GUBison #d3track #RisingUnited
The United East All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship. Student-athletes selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team demonstrate fair play, graciousness in victory and respectfulness in defeat.
