Being high level neurodivergent, I often take on a lot more than I can handle. Including all the emotions and energies of those around me. One of the reasons I love doing these collabs with my fellow techs and teammates is that it gives me a moment to take on energies that inspire and motivate me. It forces me to post, even when I don't love my result. It reminds me that sometimes I have to let go of this incessant need for perfection, and remember that having fun is what matters the most! And showing that not everything I do is obsessively perfect, which is difficult for me because I've lived a life believing that if I wasn't perfect, I wasn't good enough.
I had a bigger vision for these nails. Life took over, and I ended up finishing them last minute, without my vision realized, and without the time to take a picture that showed them in their best light. But I said, "Who cares?! I worked hard, I had fun, and I feel so inspired. That's what the point really was!"
So here they are! In all their imperfect glory!
And besides, they inspired me to make a birthday set dedicated to my son! And I won't kid myself, for those ones I will apply my perfectionism. 😉

My playful girl is obsessed with her toys, and her balls are her absolute lifelines. After having older dogs for so long, losing them, and getting a puppy again, I was quickly reminded how much energy a young dog has! But I wouldn't change her for the world!
