The brief for this project was clear from the start: invest in pieces built to last. No trends. No fillers. Just considered curation that gets better with time.
The Za:Za Max sofa by Zanotta via, is the heart of it. Upholstered in Taiga fabric, it's one of those pieces that's sculptural and deeply comfortable at the same time. The kind of sofa you don't leave. Paired alongside it, the nested Sequence tables by, two forms that work beautifully together and just as well apart.
Watching over it all is 'Woman Smoking At The Window' by Diana Sosnowska, a piece that mirrors the quiet introspection this whole apartment is built around. The Foscarini Chiaroscura floor lamp via adds that warm glow that makes everything feel considered at any hour.
This is what slow curation looks like. And we think it was worth the wait.

We spent time at a lighting workshop hosted by the wonderful team at this week, and got to meet the maker behind in person. Getting into the story, the craftsmanship and the details behind the products, it’s the kind of thing that completely changes the way you specify.
We also had a stone slab day at & with our clients, one of the most tactile and exciting parts of any project. Seeing the slabs in person, understanding how the veining and tone shifts in different light, watching a client‘s face when they find the one. Always a good day.
Back at the studio, we hosted a few colour consultation and material selection workshops. And to close the week out, the wonderful team at had us in for a product walkthrough and, honestly, one of the best yum cha lunches we’ve had in a while. Grateful for that one.
And now, the Melbourne Design Week. We‘re throwing ourselves in fully this weekend to see some of our friends’ work, discover beautiful things, and soak up everything this city does so well when it comes together around design.
Fully charged. Let‘s go. 🖤
But this reading corner in our 1927 St Kilda loft? Pretty cosy with all the afternoon sun.
More to come. 🤍

We’re in the final stretch of our Kew Residence and it’s one of those projects that just feels really good to be part of. The family are creative, musical, and they’ve trusted us completely so we’ve been able to go deep on every detail, including the custom joinery for their music room. On site this week finalising the last finishes. Nearly there.
We also got to spend some time at ’s new Brunswick showroom, and WOW. Ollie, Simon and Cathy walked us through their story from the beginning, their new collection, and a space designed by that honestly blew us away. One of those visits where you leave feeling genuinely inspired. If you haven’t been, go.
Then we jumped on a flight to Sydney for the Bellevue Hill photoshoot with the incredible behind the lens. There’s something really special about watching a project you’ve poured yourself into finally be captured properly. More to come on that one very soon.
And to close out the week, a home consultation where the wall finish and pendant installation came together in a way that genuinely made us stop and smile. The kind of moments that reminds you why the details matter.
A lot happening, a lot to look forward to. This is the part of the job we love most. 💙
Three entry points, a fireplace, high ceilings, and a dog named Louis who had already claimed the best seat in the house. With a baby on the way, they needed a space that could grow with them without touching a single wall.
The living room was the real puzzle. It sits at the heart of the home, connecting every room, welcoming every guest, and handling everything that daily life throws at it. Getting it right meant solving the layout first, then letting the design follow.
A modular Lemmy sofa from gave them the flexibility to reconfigure as their family grows. Custom shelving was designed to hold the TV without hiding it, framing it instead, and drawing the eye up to those beautiful high ceilings. Earthy tones and textures echo the Northcote streetscape just outside the window, making the space feel rooted and considered.
Same home. Completely different feeling.
