I’m sharing a few images from what we’ve decided to call From the Sky to the Basement. Since it’s not easy to describe myself, I asked, a childhood friend and videographer, to follow me on my journeys from the studio to the great outdoors I love. I’m trying to give you a glimpse of where I draw my inspiration from and how I hope to convey it to you as best as I can through this music. So over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sharing all these precious moments with the people, places, and emotions that make up this coming album, in a series of short clips we’ll be releasing on social media. A sort of ongoing micro-documentary, which I hope will give you a sense of being right there with me at the heart of this creative process. From the sky where I love to fly with my paraglider and draw inspiration to the basement of my studio, my safe haven, which I set up in my old sailboat. I look forward to sharing all of this with you in an album by the end of the year, and live in a few months!
