I wouldn’t normally post content related to my work, but since this profile as been declared dead by IG, why not adding a bit more confusion 💀
As a photographer, you would find yourself less obsessed with the chairs and more captivated by the energy in the streets, the wild installations, and the way everyday Milanese life collides with high-end design. 📸✨
Salone del Mobile is a big deal with Milanesi but also with everyone involved in any phase of design, from product, to architecture, involving also artists.

I truly believe this has to be seen at least once in your life, but at the same time I urge not to come, as I haven’t seen as many people in milan as during this week (probably only comparable to walk in Sannenzaka in Kyoto at sunset 😅).
Here are a few frames of Milanese life and vibrant interiors, straight out of my #ricohgriiix without post production.

To be honest, all of Tasmania has that magic, but Hobart really surprised me. It’s a place where neighbors actually know each other, wild animals might just wander across your porch, and the architecture has a soul that feels so different from the modern Australian cities I had in mind.
Even if you’re heading to Tassie for the rugged wilderness, do not skip this town.
My 48-hour Hobart Hitlist:
• MONA: Easily one of the most mind-blowing museums I’ve ever stepped foot in. I barely took photos for obvious reasons: just go there 😉
• Salamanca Market: For the local crafts and the best Saturday morning vibes.
• The Food Scene: Save room for a culinary experience at one of the upscale spots—the produce here is next level!
• We loved wandering the streets and walking along the rivulet to spot local wildlife.

When I look back on my time in Australia, the feeling I carry with me isn’t just about the places—it’s about the shift in pace. It’s a commitment to a slower life and cherishing the simplest things.
I think the sun and the ocean breeze do that to you no matter where you are in the world—they just make you want to stop and breathe. Still trying to crack how to keep that “slow living” feeling alive once you’re back to the capitalistic working machine 😅 if you have found that magical trick I’d love to know 🫶🏽

What struck me most wasn’t just the view—it was the vibe. No rows of tripods or people living through their screens. Just a community truly living in the moment. I guess when you have access to this kind of beauty every day, you learn to just breathe it in rather than try to capture it. What a privilege.
For the most fulfilling experience don’t just drive to the top, but take the Cape Byron walking track. The forest trail is stunning, and while we kept our eyes peeled for koalas, we were lucky enough to spot dolphins playing in the surf below. It was pure joy.

If the stunning views from my previous post haven’t convince you yet, come to Crowdy Bay NP for the wildlife (but be sure bring a lid for your food, cause with kookaburras and goannas around the dinner is never truly safe).
Down to practicalities now. While the facilities are more basic than your average Aussie holiday park, NP campgrounds feel so much more authentic. Main downside is that they get booked many months in advance during high season (and they are also so cheap compared to other holidays park, so people tend to ghost book them). As we planned out travel in NSW a bit on the go, this was the only one we could book 🥲 if you are traveling to Australia I wholeheartedly recommend to plan your stay in the NP way in advance cause it’s truly worth it.

We drove here with zero expectations—honestly, shoutout to social media for still keeping a few secrets! After 24 hours there and a camera roll that was literally bursting, I’ve realized one post just won’t cut it, so I’ll bother you with some more views in the future for sure.
Beyond grateful we found this hidden gem tucked away from the Christmas crowds. We spent the whole hike in total silence, just us and the views.
The national park is quite big and you can take several walks or surf on that stunning beach with the right swell, but this post is fully dedicated to the main hike: the Diamond Loop Walk. Pro Tip: Start about 2 hours before sunset. It’s a 90-minute loop, but if you’re like me and stop every five seconds for a photo, you’ll need the extra time to catch that golden haze. 🌅

If you want to save a few bucks, a shorter trip like the one to Cremorne Point is perfect. But if you have the time, I highly recommend the ferry to Watsons Bay—the views are incredible. My tip for a sunset “aperitivo” is simple: grab some snacks and a picnic blanket, find a spot by the water, and just wait for the magic to happen. It’s way better (and cheaper) than any rooftop bar!

This is of course just a selection of what I could catch with a 200 mm (and some extra crop). Note to self: definitely upgrade to a 400mm if I ever get into bird photography 😛
Probably if you are over 30 you have developed a passion for birds, so for the sake of science we have here:
Little corellas
Sulphur crested cockatoo (on our Sydney balcony)
A flying fox
Kookaburras (my absolute fav)
Ibis (alone and in a flock)
A pelican
A couple of rainbow lorikeets
A brush-turkey
A masked lapwing
A pied oystercatcher
Which one of your favorite?
