Cherry was one of the most creative queens I ever worked with, and we often spent time during our fittings and consultations talking about future projects and dream costumes. We talked about what we would do should she ever be invited back to the race, and This is a piece I pitched to her as a finalé gown for when she inevitably got asked back to all stars! I remember trying to describe it too her, but couldn’t really explain it so I scribbled it down in my notebook to show her (last slide) and she loved it! Based on Galliano for Dior/04 I thought this look would be perfect for her. So sad we never got to make it and share it with you all, so I decided to do a proper sketch of how I imagined it to look, hope you all love it! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
