But Frankie is here, well and happy, after a very scary misadventure last week.
A week ago Frank's oldest human brother found him with a length of fishing line hanging out of his mouth. X-rays confirmed the absence of a fish hook, but he still had to have surgery to remove 97cm of fishing line bundled up in his intestines.
A very hard lesson for the young human who left his fishing gear around, and an expensive and traumatic week for me! But the important thing is Frankie is recovering well and we are so very lucky to have him still.
