Lucky at the very end of our dive I saw a huge cloud of ink in the water and in the middle of it a flying purple back squid! These guys get a little stunned after releasing ink so was the perfect time to admire and take some photos while it just hovered in front of us in the water.
Definitely the most unique, spooky and unforgettable dive you can do in Kona!

While no photo will be able to really capture what all the manta madness was like, here’s a few of my favorites as a slowly edit through the hundreds more images. It’s just one of those dives that of course gets hyped up on social media but it deserves every last bit of it.

We set out to see the Napali coast and were led by multiple pods of Hawaiian spinner dolphins in the glassiest water. The dolphins here are just so curious and playful, even flipping on their bellies and tail slapping the surface!
