Last Sunday’s feast looked quite different… 🍜🍣🦞☀️

has perfected the art seaside feasting. Fresh chilled seafood and sashimi straight from the ice, crab, prawns and oysters to start, followed by sushi and steaming noodle stations. There’s an immense cheese table (the kind you circle back to), plus pizza, pasta and beautifully roasted meat (inc wagyu beef) and grilled fish.

Dessert is next level. Local fruit, mango sticky rice, rich puddings and yes, a gloriously unnecessary chocolate fountain - all enjoyed with ocean views, rosé on repeat, live music and performances…and that warm Phuket breeze.

This Sunday looks entirely different. I’m wrapped up in blankets. I’ve ordered a Deliveroo to help soothe my soul. Pad Ka Prow and Som Tum en route.

Gah. I’m really missing it. Totally see why Cheska moved there 🥲

Missing this place so much already.
Slow mornings at our gorgeous tent at, dipping into our own little pool, and stretching breakfast at (which is part of the hotel experience) into a full-blown morning ritual.

Long lunches at. Long walks down Bang Tao Beach. Sandy toes. Salty hair. Vitamin D fully replenished. All those glorious holiday clichés - and memories that taste sweeter than the local mangos 🥭

If Phuket is on your list (and it really should be), you’ll want to save this hotel.

This is exactly what you need.
After the manic festive season, rest and recharge was quite literally what the doctor ordered, and delivered.

Days began slowly, wrapped in greenery, doors sliding open onto a private pool. Nowhere else to be, nothing else to do.

Our villa felt like a world of its own: high walls, teak decks, outdoor showers and that delicious sense of privacy that makes you forget what day it is.

Lunch might be grilled seafood by the beach or something fragrant at La Sala. Sunset cocktails at Bua Bar (highly recommend the North South Margarita), or sea-view soaking at rooftop bar Infinity. Dinners were flame-kissed steaks and wood-fired Phuket lobster at Sea Fire Salt, and omakase feasts at The Tree House beautifully lantern-lit, perched above the palms, with sweeping views across the lagoons.

Anantara Mai Khao is cinematic in a quietly extravagant way, which makes sense given its role as the backdrop for some of The White Lotus’ most iconic scenes (recognise any?) 🪷

This is a place designed for truly switching off, reconnecting and letting the days blur in the very best way. The perfect escape from city life. And, btw, it would make the dreamiest honeymoon location.

*pr visit but words honest as per
Phuket knows how to celebrate. The joy, kindness and energy of Thai people is something special. And, they really know how to throw a party. Happy New Year!!! Sending love and wishing you the best year yet.

…I’ve still yet to get a pic with. Am working on it.

Any suggestions for places to go here and/or the islands nearby? I’d LOVE to hear them 😘
And some fun facts…

Pad Thai wasn’t made for Westerners (that’s a myth). It’s not an ancient dish either. It was promoted by the Thai government in the 1930s–40s to build national identity, reduce rice shortages, and define a distinctly Thai noodle dish at a time when noodles were seen as Chinese.

Also, I think this might be the first trend I’ve actually convinced Pete to do - although he was noticeably unimpressed that I filmed it 10 minutes before we had to leave for the airport.

I was very lucky to convince Pete to try a “honeymoon” part two. In case you’re new here or missed the original honeymoon stories, I was hospitalised with bacterial pneumonia in Sri Lanka. It was scary and disappointing, but thankfully I was okay.

Oh and one of my besties recently moved here, so it felt like the perfect excuse to visit her and do a little travelling too 👀

Hope you had a lovely festive break and a very happy new year 🤍
Happy New Year’s Eve. I’ve already spoken about this evening, but I wanted to share it all properly in one place. I planned to edit this with a voiceover and a personal touch, but I’ll be honest, I’m a little (very) burnt out. I’ve spent the year building a business, running socials, and making content for restaurants, hotels and beautiful places across London, so sometimes my own content gets left behind (I’m working on it).

I promised myself I’d post this. First before Christmas, then before New Year. Not because I had to, but because it genuinely meant something. And because this might be exactly what you’re looking for if you’re planning a very special occasion.

For anyone wondering, the live music nights at aren’t just for Christmas. Live at The Ritz runs throughout the year, which makes it even more special if you’re marking something memorable.

I’ve already talked about the food, the stunning champagne pairing, the music, the dancing. All together, it felt completely otherworldly.

This is obviously not an everyday experience, and I was very lucky to be invited by. But if you love old-school glamour, exquisite food, and evenings that feel just a little removed from real life, this is one to remember.

Truly up there with one of the best ever.

Happy New Year’s Eve, my loves and thank you again
An address worth making a date of this season.

Is it possible to top this? I honestly don’t know.

Last night was one for the books. One of my favourite meals of the year. Maybe even ever. It tipped me squarely into festive mode, whether I was ready or not…and left me quietly longing to time-travel back to the golden era.

Perrier-Jouët kindly invited us to an evening at Ritz Restaurant, where we were tucked away in the Ritz Room just off the main dining space. Intimate and warm, with beautifully soft lighting and silverware that glinted just so; the kind of room designed for lingering over far too many courses.

The food was on another level entirely. Seven courses from their two Michelin starred menu: balanced, elegant, and delivered with just the right amount of theatre. Each dish paired effortlessly with champagne. I’ll talk about it more in a reel (if I ever find the time before Christmas to edit it 🥴).

And the service? Unparalleled.

I can’t recommend their live music night enough. It’s pure old-school glamour. A singer who could’ve convinced you Frank Sinatra had returned, a live band and dancers who were genuinely breathtaking. Naturally, we all ended up on the floor and encouraged the rest of the room to join us.

Darlings, if I ever become a billionaire, I’m bringing you all with me. Deal?

you are the best.

I’m very lucky - and grateful - to have you as my make-up-artist sister. Thank you for glowing me up in next to no time.
The day after the night before. Unpopular opinion: the day after is sometimes even better than the wedding. Who agrees?

In our case, I’d like to think ALL our wedding events were amazing in their own different way. We actually planned our wedding around this day. C’as Patró March is our favourite restaurant and we’ve been coming for nearly a decade (thanks to you, Mitch & Sophie). It’s the best seafood on the island and its location couldn’t be more magical. And, it wasn’t easy to book it out. That was all part of its charm…

But there’s something about regrouping the day after a wedding. Exchanging anecdotes from the night before. Witnessing new friendships. Hazily settling in for the day with delicious food, wine and amazing music…it’s the best.

Can we also have a moment for the perfect party dress paired with jewels, wedges AND the swimsuit & lace beach gown for the swim before 🤍

📸

P.s. thank you, Antonia. You’re a legend! Will hopefully thank you in person soon. We had quite the party at your beautiful restaurant and the food was as stunning as ever 🦞

*Some gifted items mentioned. Some non-gifted items that just deserve the mention*
We did it! And it was truly beyond anything we could have ever dreamed of…

The embargo is lifted and I’m SO excited to finally share this preview from our magical wedding weekend. I still can’t believe designed such a breath-taking bespoke dress.

August 30th, 2024, will forever hold a special place in our hearts. So many talented people helped bring this day to life, but a special thanks goes to...

My make-up artist (and baby sister)
Our fabulous friend and celebrant
for the perfect pearl wedding jewellery
for a stunningly, sustainable diamond wedding band
who gave the event such a wonderful personal touch with her incredible illustrations
our DJ who took us dancing into the early hours
Juanmi, Lourdes & their team made the whole day seamless
for the beautiful ‘yellow diamond’ bridesmaid dresses
The yellow diamonds & ushers
for this gorgeous video (so excited to see them all!)
for all their support, their little black book and amazing advice along the way 🤍

We put so much time, love and energy into planning our special day. Everyone who was part of it made it so worthwhile.

We can’t wait to share more…especially more of the party outfits…✨
