What a week.
After waiting almost the entire day, the thermal finally kicked in around 3 p.m. with a beautiful 15 knots. As soon as the wind filled in, I knew it was time to give everything.
The semifinals were intense. I knew my speed was there, but I also knew I’d have to stay mentally strong. There were plenty of distractions away from the racing itself, but I stayed focused on the only thing that really matters: racing.
I earned my place in the Final feeling confident and ready to fight. One small tactical mistake on the second lap cost me the chance to battle for the win. I crossed the finish line in 3rd, but under the current Medal Series format that meant 4th overall, missing the podium by just a few metres.
It hurts, but I’m leaving Gizzeria with even more confidence than when I arrived.
A 2nd place in Silvaplana followed by a 4th place here confirms that the work we’ve been doing is paying off. I’m feeling fast, confident, and ready for the World Championship in Istanbul and the upcoming Freestyle Slalom World Cups in the Canary Islands. 💪

After 6 intense qualifying races, I dropped to 3rd overall, with some epic battles against all day long ⚔️🔥
Even though I lost one position, I came away feeling really confident about my speed and more comfortable with the spot every session. 📈💪
Today we started the Gold Fleet. The forecast wasn’t very promising, so the race committee sent us out as soon as the wind filled in. We completed three races in 8–10 knots—definitely not my favorite conditions—but I’m really happy with how I stayed calm and managed to perform at my best. 💨🧠
Race 1: 🥈 Another 2nd place, right behind Ale, who’s sailing incredibly well this week.
Race 2: 😬 I got caught up with a few riders who didn’t give me room at a crucial moment. I had to avoid contact and find space in an incredibly tight fleet, which dropped me back to 13th. Luckily, that will be my discard.
Race 3: 🚀 I was almost late to the start after making a last-minute foil change. I had to pump like crazy just to make the line in time, starting from a position I definitely hadn’t planned. Even so, I fought all the way back to 5th, battling for the top three until the finish.
After that we came back ashore for a break, but unfortunately the wind faded and no more racing was possible.
I end the day still in 3rd overall, and I’m really happy with where I stand. Tomorrow it’s all about pushing for those top two positions and earning a place in Sunday’s Medal Series Final. 🏆⚡️
I’m feeling ready, confident, and I can’t wait to get back on the start line! 🤙🔥
