I’m honestly a bit obsessed with making photos like this in real life. It looks so cool when a tattoo becomes more than just something on the body — when it turns into part of a bigger image, part of the whole atmosphere.
For me, it’s really important how a tattoo looks after it heals, and how well it fits the person.
This piece was done at the Birmingham Tattoo Convention. Here we just did a small touch-up after healing.
