Discover the thriving plant life of Herbert Park on a guided foraging walk with Feebee Foran, Ireland AM’s resident herbalist, “ditch witch,” and founder of Forager.ie. Learn how to identify wild herbs, turn everyday plants into teas and skincare, and explore the ancient traditions of foraging, including Brigid’s connection to the natural world.
The walk lasts approximately 60 minutes and includes a goodie bag with two snacks and dandelion coffee. Advance booking required.

We are counting down to Showcase 2026 at the RDS Dublin from 18th–20th January.
This year's event will welcome almost 400 exhibitors under the theme, ‘Making Irish Stories’, which celebrates makers from every corner of the island and the products they create.
With pieces spanning Home & Gift, Fashion, Jewellery and Wellbeing, a wealth of craft and design talent will go on show.

Here's how you can make it:
Stew these beauties in a pot of boiling water for at least 20 mins...no set measurements, you know me!
3 tbsp Elderberries (mine were foraged in Aug, so I had them in the freezer)
A few slices of root ginger 🫚
Orange and lemon slices 🍊🍋
A few cloves
A cinnamon stick
Sprigs of rosemary and thyme 🌿
Some foraged Scott's Pine 🌲 (helps lift mucus off your chest)
Allow to brew and bubble in your cauldron before straining the plants out.
Allow to cool, then add a glug of local honey 🍯 ( is always my no. 1).

I truly believe that the spirit of Brigid lies in us all and this beautifully curated day will help you discover your connection to her, to the land and to the inner peace that Springtime can bring.
We will celebrate with a gentle, but powerful ceremony that will help you find your personal Bríd, we will walk the land at Gormanston Woods to find the early plants that are peeping their heads out from their wintery slumber.
We'll experience the transformative symbolism of the Yew Cloisters, before warming and nourishing our bodies beside the open fire with a foraged light lunch from the land.
Then we will weave our own Brigid's Crosses around the fire while we share stories, maybe a song or two and make memories that will last. Days like this are where traditions are made.
Gather your fellow Brigid's or come solo, everyone is welcome around the fire.

Wild weed wander through the stunning surrounds of Gormanston Demesne, learn to make your own healing Skincare Salve from foraged plants, create your own smudge sticks while forest bathing in the Hammocks dotted through the land, set your intentions for the next turn of the wheel and experiences deep meditation around the open fire.
