A blend of two classic Chet Atkins signature models, the Tennessee Rose draws on the aesthetic of the original red 6119 Tennessean introduced in the late 1950s, while employing the double pickup configuration of the iconic 6120.
This 1999 Tennessee Rose is in excellent condition with very little playwear to note. The pair of Filter’Tron pickups offer the incredible chime, clarity, and depth that one hopes to find in a Gretsch instrument.

Among the last of Fender’s golden era Telecasters, this 1966 transition-era Tele checks all of the boxes with its nitrocellulose finish, 250K pots, Kluson tuners, gold transition Fender decal, and lightweight ash body.
This autumn of 1966 Fender Telecaster was brought to us by its second owner, who acquired the guitar in the early 1970s. A beautifully-aged example of a transition-era Fender instrument, this ‘66 Tele boasts incredible patina to the original blonde finish.
Sporting a pair of unmodified original pickups on the upper end of typical resistance readings from this era - 6.3K in the bridge position and 6.6K in the neck - this vintage Telecaster sounds absolutely phenomenal and is among the best sounding Teles we’ve had through the shop in a while. We’ve just refretted this guitar and it plays flawlessly.

A rather uncommon early ‘70s Gibson solid body, this 1974 Gibson Les Paul with factory full-sized humbucker routes was built at a time when the Les Paul Standard was not a regular production model and had to be special ordered in place of the mini-humbucker equipped Les Paul Deluxe.
Sporting a pair of unmodified Patent Sticker T-Top pickups, this guitar offers wonderfully rich and dynamic humbucker tones with excellent single note clarity supported by a powerful low end response.
It’s no secret that Jimmy Page replaced the bridge PAF in his number one Burst with the same Patent Sticker T-Top as found in this ‘74 Standard. If you’re looking to capture those iconic Les Paul tones, this guitar will get you very close at about 1% of the price of a clean 1959 Les Paul Standard.

With a beautifully sweet, open voice and exceptional playability, this wonderfully preserved is a gem of a guitar, and among the nicest 00-sized 14 fret bar-fretted Martins we’ve seen in some time.
This guitar was built with bar frets and is within 500 instruments of Martin’s change to T frets in the fall of 1934. As such, the instrument’s neck is reinforced with ebony (rather than with a steel T-bar), which helps keep the guitar light in weight and rich in overtones. It has a voice that’s much more sophisticated than most 17 series instruments that we’ve played; with a rich darkness that’s perfectly highlighted by that classic mahogany tinge in the upper mid-range. Very open and responsive.

Another fine offering from Gibson Custom, this 2002 CS-336 is a beautifully crafted instrument with simple, yet elegant appointments. Boasting a comfortable and fast neck carve, along with an upgraded set of fantastic sounding Mojotone humbuckers, this Custom ES-336 is a joy to play and hear.
This well-loved guitar has seen countless hours of playtime as is evident through minor chips and dents throughout the instrument’s finish and mild fretwear across the guitar’s fingerboard. A previous owner was clearly quite fond of performing volume swells on the neck pickup as there is some notable wear around the neck volume control.

A current staff favourite, this ‘34 Gibson L-Century is a stunning instrument with a sweet and rich voice that has us all smitten.
Designed for the 1933/4 Chicago World’s Fair, formally titled “A Century of Progress International Exposition” Gibson’s line of ‘Century of Progress’ models featured pearloid-clad fretboards and headstocks, sunburst finish over maple back and sides, and unique framed inlays.
This example is a wonderful sounding guitar. It offers excellent definition and note separation, warmth in the bass, and rounded, meaty clarity in the trebles. It’s slightly more fundamentally pure than a comparable L-1 or L-00 but offers lovely overtones and a touch of smokiness when you lighten your attack.
