Lately, a lot of couples have been asking when the best season for a Tuscany shoot is โ and honestly, the answer is: whenever you decide to go, thatโs the right time.
That said, May to October is generally the best window for a pre-wedding shoot in Tuscany. Personally, I tend to favour MayโJune and SeptemberโOctober, mainly because itโs just outside the peak summer holiday season, which means fewer tourists (and trust me, Tuscany in high season can get intense). The weather is also much more comfortable โ warm, but not overwhelmingly hot, with long daylight hours and beautiful sunlight thatโs ideal for shooting.
C&Tโs shoot, for example, took place in early October last year in Tuscany. The cypress trees were still beautifully green, and we had plenty of sunlight throughout the day to create some really lovely images.
By early autumn, even the midday sun in Tuscany feels softer and gentler, with just enough breeze to make the whole experience far more enjoyable โ both for the couple and for me behind the camera, not melting through the afternoon.
One thing I especially loved about how C&T planned their shoot was splitting it across two days:
one day fully dedicated to Tuscany, and another for Florence and Siena.
It gave us the time and space to fully enjoy each location, and more importantly, allowed both days to unfold at a much more relaxed pace โ which always makes room for better photos.

March was such a lovely month back in Hong Kong. One of the highlights was photographing Eunice and Brian, along with their two incredibly adorable kids. I first met them as clients for their pre-wedding and wedding. And now, theyโve grown into a beautiful family of four.

Christy & Felix have this ease between them thatโs hard to describe. Nothing feels forced โ just natural, gentle, and deeply real. You can feel it in the way they move, the way they look at each other, the way theyโre simply present together.
The ceremony was filled with so much joy. Friends travelled from different parts of the world, all gathering in one place just to celebrate them. It felt less like an event, more like a reunion โ warm, genuine, and full of laughter.
As the day unfolded, we shared a beautiful meal together, listening to stories, raising glasses, taking it all in. And when night came, everything softened into something even more intimate โ music in the background, conversations flowing, and a pub quiz that somehow brought everyone even closer.
