I had the opportunity to race one of the first ever t100 races (PTO) and being back now I can see they have progressed every aspect to a new level of professionalism. Did they mess up yesterday? Yes, they did, but I am sure they will learn from that.
We have to remember this organization only has 3/4 years and how many years and mistakes it took for the other organizations to get it right?
The professionals need an organization like this, so let’s keep supporting it.
About my race.. I didn’t expect to race but got a confirmation 48h before and didn’t want to miss a race 200m from home and an opportunity to race this field.

My first full Ironman champs didn’t disappointment. 28th isn’t much; but I’m still learning about my limits over this distance. A few tactical mistakes on the bike might have held me back a bit, or stopped me from completely exploding.. we will never know. This was the best I could do on the day.

Suffered like a 🐕 and finished in 8h11 (24° place)… couldn’t expect a lot more with the limited preparation, a crash in the last race and life stuff 🏡 💍, but after missing it last year I didn’t want to miss another opportunity to experience this crazy atmosphere and by far the best experience
Thank you everyone for the support and now hopefully I will have a more smooth journey to the World Champs in 🇫🇷
