Binlerce parçadan oluşan koleksiyonu görmek için süremiz iki saatti. Ancak bu süreyi nasıl kullanacağımız bize aitti. Bir kaç özel parça dışında bu sürenin yarısını Rafaello Odaları’nda, özellikle de Sanata Seyirci Olmak seminerlerimizde en çok rağbet edilen Atina Okulu freskosu önünde ve elbette Sistina Şapeli’nde geçirdik.
Sistina Şapeli’nin kapısının için açılma anı gerçekten inanılmazdı. İçeriye girişimizle birlikte hepimizin nutku tutuldu. Daha önce yüzlerce kişi, omuz omuza, anlatım yapmanın yasak olduğu, müthiş bir uğultuyla gezdiğimiz Sistina Şapeli’nin sessiz ve derin güzelliğinin içindeydik.
Hayatımın en olağanüstü yerinde seminerini yaptım. SOFOS’ta ekip arkadaşlarımla birlikte imza işler yapmayı seviyoruz. Yeni yılda da özenli ve çok kıymetli SOFOS katılımcılarımızı memnun edecek güzel işler yapmak dileği ve duasıyla yeni yılı karşılıyoruz. Yine yola çıkarken her zaman yanımızda olan ve desteğini esirgemeyen Prof. Dr. Kürşad DEMİRCİ ve Prof. Dr. İlber ORTAYLI hocalarımız bizimleydi. Yol üzerinde Coşkun ve Müge ARAL ile, Elisabeth S. MADZAR ile tanışmak ve dost olmak tarif edilemezdi. Dokuz yıllık bir süreci geride bırakırken dönüp baktığımızda çok değerli akademisyenler, uzmanlar ve yazarlarla bir araya gelmişiz.
Seminerlerde ve seyahatlerde buluştuğumuz SOFOS Dostları, SOFOS’tan hizmet alırken bir yandan da bize katma değer sağlayan çok güzel insanlar oldu. Büyüklerimiz “Hep iyilerle karşılaşın” diye dua ederdi bize. Gerçekten hep “iyi” lerle karşılaştık.
Son iki yıldır SOFOS’u, nice on yıllar ayakta olabilmesi için yoğun bir şekilde hazırlamaya başladık. İşe logomuzu değiştirerek başladık. Sunumlar, jenerikler derken tüm kurumsal yüzümüz değişti. Bugün de aylardır devam eden, emek yoğun bir sürecin takibiyle gerçekleşen yeni web sitemizin açılışını yaptık.
