But the most unforgettable moment? 🐬
A private dolphin cruise for my birthday.
Soooo many dolphins.
Jumping, swimming alongside us,
dancing through the water like they were putting on a little birthday show just for us.
I couldn’t stop smiling. Not for a second 😊

It was once used to transport goods from island to island,
supplying local families long before luxury resorts existed.
This history (and the old spice route) inspired the restaurant.
Today, Ba’theli is set on three traditional Maldivian Dhoni boats.
One for the kitchen.
One for the bar.
One for the restaurant.
