It’s rare to find a mountain with such a distinct shape that looks completely different from every new angle. There’s a reason Stetinden was voted Norway’s national mountain—it’s essentially a massive, shifting geometry rising straight from the Nordland fjords.
The weirdest part? To make the road accessible, they actually had to drill a 2.7km tunnel directly through the base of the mountain itself. You can literally drive under the national monument to get through the fjord.
