Couldn’t have done it without the team:
I’ll never forget the first time I had the sensation of absolute quiet.
I experienced it for the first time when I traveled to completely remote part of Utah with friends. It was for a river rafting trip on the green river.
We were remote and without cell service for days.
It reminded me a little of home in central Indiana. In cornfields being surrounded by more cornfields.
What’s even stronger to me is the sensation of how my brain and body felt when I got back to Salt Lake City and the noise and movement came back.
Salt Lake isn’t that big or busy compared to a lot of places, but when you’ve been listening to wind it’s massive.
It taught me how important it is to give your brain some space occasionally.
It also pushed me to get back out there and i made a career out of it.
Just know you can create this space anytime and anywhere with the right mindset and some discipline.
