High-protein microwave cake using Optimum Nutrition whey 💪🍰
Around 70g protein in the whole cake – 2 servings, ready in under 6 minutes.
Ingredients:
• ½ cup water or ready-to-drink protein shake
• 1 scoop oats
• 1 ripe banana
• 3 eggs (1 whole + 2 egg whites)
• 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)
• 1 scoop whey / Hydro Whey
How to make it:
1. Pour the water or protein shake into a bowl (about half a cup).
2. Add the oats, the ripe banana, 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites.
3. Add the cocoa powder (if you like) and 1 scoop of Optimum Nutrition whey or Hydro Whey.
4. Blend or mix everything well until smooth.
5. Pour the mixture into a microwave-safe dish.
6. Microwave for about 3 minutes (time may vary depending on your microwave).
Toppings:
• When it’s cooked, flip it onto a plate.
• Add a spoon of peanut butter, banana slices if you like, and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
Let it cool slightly and enjoy it with your coffee as a high-protein breakfast or post-workout meal 🤍☕️
