Finance Coordinator: Elisabete Almeida
I am an entrepreneur, full-time musician, and community builder with strong experience in financial planning, event coordination, and leadership. I have promoted and organized events, managing logistics, budgets, and audience engagement to ensure successful outcomes.

As an independent artist, I have created and managed budgets for my album projects and promotional campaigns, developing strong financial discipline and resource management skills. Running my own business has further strengthened my ability to plan strategically and execute projects effectively.

I also served as a manager and chief leader at Tapigo in Saint Laurent Montreal, where I oversaw operations, supervised teams, and managed budgets in a fast-paced environment.

In addition, I am a electroacoustic student and jazz singer leading my advanced program, Mona Mojo, where I design curriculum and manage program operations for dancers and musicians

I am eager to contribute these skills as a Financial Coordinator at FASA while gaining experience in a larger organization.

Student Life Coordinator: Leah Song

Hi! My name is Leah, and I’m running to be your next Student Coordinator at FASA. I’m a first gen immigrant and a third-year Computation Arts student. Over the past year, I’ve worked as the merch designer at CASS and have actively supported many of its events, which has given me valuable experience in contributing to student life and building community through creative work.

If elected as Student Coordinator, my goal would be to help create a welcoming, connected, and engaging environment for students across the arts. I want to make FASA a space where students feel comfortable participating, sharing their ideas, and building relationships across different departments. I believe the arts community should be accessible, inclusive, and exciting for everyone who wants to be involved.

I also want to be an active and approachable member of the community by listening to what students truly want and need. I hope to help organize events and initiatives that reflect those needs while encouraging stronger connections among students in all arts programs. Thank you so much for your time and consideration, and I would be truly honored to have your vote!

The FASA voting period is April 16th and 17th. Check your inbox on those dates to access your ballot to vote for FASAs new coordinators.
Finance Coordinator: Rojelio Palacios (Man, I Love FASA)

Hi, I’m Rojelio, a Studio Arts student at Concordia and your candidate for Finance Coordinator with MILF (Man I Love FASA).

Over the past two years as a studio arts major I’ve built strong connections all across the Fine Arts. Through my involvement with the Queer Print Club (QPC), organizing workshops, exhibitions, and events, I’ve seen how important clear support systems, accessible resources, and reliable funding are for students trying to make things happen.

As an artist working with limited resources, I know how frustrating it can be when funding is slow, unclear, or hard to access. I want to prioritize faster reimbursements, transparency around the budget, and making financial processes easier to navigate so students can focus on creating, not chasing money.

I care deeply about community, and I’m committed to clear, responsive communication. I want to show up, listen, and make sure students feel supported and heard. Simply put, I care about this community, I take this role seriously, and I’m ready to do the work.

The FASA voting period is April 16th and 17th. Check your inbox on those dates to access the ballot to vote for FASAs new coordinators.
Student Life Coordinator: Paloma Thompson (Man, I Love FASA)

My name is Paloma and I am running to be the student life coordinator for 2026/2027. I was FASA's outreach coordinator for 2025/2026 and have learned the intricacies of how FASA functions. I am looking forward to the possibility of creating events that connect students across the fine arts departments and combatting austerity measures that are negatively impacting the quality of education for fine arts students. I want to create events that have free food, drinks, and music at accessible venues in collaboration with student and community groups of all kinds. I believe the responsibility of the student life role is to create as many spaces for joy and connection as possible, and to quickly respond to the students body's needs.

The FASA voting period is April 16th and 17th. Check your inbox on those dates to access the ballot to vote for FASAs new coordinators.
