This past week, we had the honor of designing a table for in support of and. It was such a joy to hear from (I am a long time fan) and to get a glimpse into her book, A Screaming Blast—a reminder of the lasting power of a spectacularly designed event.

For years, I’ve imagined a garden party beneath the oak trees—something reminiscent of the ones we experienced while living in Charleston. Texas weather, mosquitos (!), full summers, and a season of life with young children have made that vision a difficult one to realize… so I took this opportunity to bring it to life indoors:)

Each element of the table was considered as part of a larger composition—layered, collected, and full of color and life. We kept florals and candlelight low, allowing conversation to move easily across the table. Because at its best, design sets the stage for connection, for memory-making, for the good stuff.

This is always our hope: that what we create feels personal, lived-in, and closely reflective of the people it’s meant to hold.

Grateful to have designed alongside such a talented group of Austin creatives, and to support organizations doing important work for families and mental health in our community.

Special thanks to:
You’ve seen on the pages of Architectural Digest and Luxe, where their layered, artful approach and beautifully collected interiors have been widely recognized. Their work blends color, pattern, and texture with a sense of ease—creating spaces that feel timeless, expressive, and deeply personal.

We are honored to welcome Whitney and her team to and can’t wait to see their vision come to life! ✨

Many of our rooms begin with a found object—and this one began in Round Top.

On a fall trip with, I spotted this vintage shell-encrusted chandelier at. The maternal side of my family is from Grand Cayman, and I grew up shell hunting with my grandmother, so anything with shells always stops me in my tracks.

With no plan in mind (and a margarita in my belly), I bought the very specific chandelier 😅 Thank you for the encouragement,!

Two weeks later we have a new client who shares the same love of shells. After our first conversation, I knew exactly where this treasure belonged. It became the very first piece we placed in this whimsical second home in Wimberley, Texas.

Perched along the river, the house feels like springtime in the Hill Country.

Sometimes a room begins with a chandelier—and a little bit of serendipity. We’ll share more on our website soon!

I find it incredibly challenging to broach any kind of topic outside of design here. The news reel and current events can feel a bit crushing and daunting at times. There is so much need and so much to do all the time. It’s 2026, and we are with you other humans, praying for good and trying to discern what is ours to do.

Here is some beauty we made last year in an Austin powder bath. Especially glad to have wallpaper featured after their recent business manifesto Instagram post and return to creative proprietorship. They have set a good bar.

The little bug nestled in the flowers on the embroidered hand towel was the perfect styling choice by our talented client:).

One more completed room to round out the year ✨

We designed this sweet little boy’s room in a single afternoon during a client consultation. Our client brought incredible execution skills and completed the space on her own. She loved the result so much that she decided to expand her project into full-service design for her living room, dining room, breakfast area, and office.

We’ll be sharing more in the New Year—and wishing you a very happy one!

We are very grateful and excited to share our work on the cover of Home’s debut issue!! Cannot express how thankful I am for all of the love we’ve received this past week over this incredible surprise! I have been a long time fan of Tribeza, and remember our wedding feature from 17 years ago fondly. What a fun full circle moment.

This project was from the heart for dear friends of ours. It was such a fun transformation that so many people helped create.

Pretty humbled and excited to announce that we have officially been selected for the Pro Directory. We are in amazing company with some of my favorite designers around the country. Feeling very grateful for the dear clients, partners, and vendors that have made this possible, and eager to design even more beautiful spaces this year.

We are taking new projects in 2024! We would love to work with you:)

Sharing one of our favorite shots of #dreamdutchcolonial on this first day of fall 🍂

We call this room the sunroom because it is a transitional vestibule from the house to the outside, and it is a place to pause and appreciate the sunlight streaming in. Our clients had originally considered trying to squeeze a bathroom into this room, but we advised keeping it and bumping an exterior wall out to add a small but efficient powder bath right off this room instead. We removed an elevator shaft that was where the restored exterior door is, and in homage to the Dutch Colonial architecture selected a new a Dutch door.

The whimsical wallpaper is appropriately named “frog snog” and features two frogs kissing. We drew heavily on our clients’ personalities, passion for preservation, and inspiration for this whole project, and the wallpaper was one of the first choices we finalized. It was a great start to a wonderful project.
