Yeah, I’ve always been a bit of a screw-up.
But when it comes to my things, my sport, everything I’ve loved, I’ve always given 100%.
No one will ever have the right to judge me for that.
Everyone thinks it’s easy… but it’s not. It’s not easy to build something from nothing. It’s not easy to start with nothing.
People, no matter how strong they seem, are fragile inside.
It only takes one wrong word, one stupid comment at the wrong time, to trigger something and push you off the right path.
But that doesn’t mean being stupid.
It means creating something from zero. And that’s not easy.
What I tried to do… wasn’t easy.
But I know I did it well. That, I’m sure of.
I know that to get here, I had to give up too much. Pieces of my life.
And yeah, maybe if I could go back, I would change some things.
But if I hadn’t made those choices…
I wouldn’t have kept going in a sport that everyone said was impossible for me.
And today I see it in others too.
Even my best friend, who now has a wrist problem and is going through the healthcare system—just like I did for years—told me:
“Now I understand what you went through. Until you live it, you can’t truly understand it.”
The patience it takes, the bureaucracy, everything behind it…
it breaks you.
It messes with your mind, it changes you inside.
