Attention backcountry enthusiasts, this is it. Your final chance to lock in AST 2 this spring!

Running April 13–16, this four-day course is designed for those ready to level up their decision-making in real avalanche terrain. With limited spots remaining, now’s the time to commit.

Spring is hands-down one of the best times to take your Avalanche Skills Training; longer days, more time in the field, and dynamic conditions that make for incredible learning.

Led by a certified ACMG guide, you’ll spend four full days immersed in the mountains (plus an indoor theory session to kick things off), building a structured, systematic approach to assessing and managing avalanche hazard.

If you’ve been thinking about AST 2, this is the push. Don’t miss out!
In a world of trends and fast fashion, has always been built to last. We took this as an opportunity to send the legend out in one of her favorite kits from the early 2000’s. 20+ years later and she stayed warm and dry throughout the elements, and looked great while doing it! Over the years Columbia has always stayed true to, look good, feel good and engineered for whatever!

Mar 28, 2026 - showing us how March madness is done!!

We’re soaking in the last of March before the calendar flips to April. Reminder, group programs wrap up on April 11/12, so get the spring goods while you can!
When I started learning to ski as an adult I didn’t imagine myself setting goals this steep. 5 years in, I’m slowly gaining the confidence and the skills to do scary stuff and try challenging terrain.

My time with has been nothing short of incredible, they truly have the best teachers/mentors/instructors/humans. If you want to improve your ski skills or push yourself within a zone of trust, book a steep clinic with.
Engineered for whatever West Coast weather systems come our way!

We put the Primo Pow Interchange Jacket and bib pants to the ultimate test this week. From snow, rain, and full plunge, it held up under the pressure and performed great. Thank you to our friends at Columbia for creating an epic jacket that holds up in all conditions!

PS. This was filmed on March 16, 2026 - conditions have greatly improved since then!

Got my AST1 course done thanks to! I learned so much about avalanche safety and backcountry skiing in general, while also having the best time. Excited to keep building on this, practicing my skills, and exploring our beautiful mountains safely 🥰

I like to think I know my way around Whistler Blackcomb … but it had been over a decade since I last took a lesson.

So this year I made it a goal to join the 2-day Steeps Clinic - to brush up my technique and finally check out some of the chutes and terrain I’d always skied past.

Safe to say these were some of the best days of my season. Came away with a few new lines, a few better habits, and the confidence I didn’t realize I needed to take things to the next level.
