✨This historic 100-year-old ferry has been transformed into a warm and atmospheric restaurant, where the maritime character has been beautifully preserved. The moment you step inside, you’ll notice that this is no ordinary dining spot.
✨The menu combines creativity with quality ingredients and every dish is prepared with great care and passion. The presentation is just as impressive as the flavors, with colorful plates that are almost too beautiful to eat.
✨We started with the eggplant with den miso, the corvina ceviche and the octopus.
For the main course, we enjoyed the BBQ-grilled dorade and the flat iron steak. To finish, we treated ourselves with the Dulce de Leche and the Lemon Crème Brûlée.
✨If you’re searching for a restaurant that’s a little different from the usual Amsterdam hotspots, this floating gem is definitely worth a visit.
✨From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere immediately stands out. The interior feels stylish, modern and a little bit like stepping into a luxury restaurant somewhere in Tokyo.
✨And then the food… the sushi not only tastes amazing, but it’s presented beautifully. Since Ryo is an Asian fusion restaurant, there’s a lot more on the menu than just sushi and trust me, the beef asparagus is an absolute must-try. Pair it with one of their signature drinks and you’ve got the perfect night out.
📍You’ll find Ryo in Amsterdam Noord, super easy to reach from Central Station with the free ferry to NDSM. And if you’re coming by car, parking right outside is very affordable.
✨You’ll also find other outdoor markets with street theatre, borrel nights, massive techno festivals and international performances during Holland Festival taking over the city throughout the coming weeks.
