A beautiful beginning to summer in Culemborg. Familiar faces, new practices, and a journey that continues to unfold.
There are a few spaces remaining for our April retreat.

This isn’t about escape. It’s about meeting yourself — gently, honestly, and in relationship with others doing the same.

Over three days, we guide a small group through a carefully held process of preparation, inner exploration, and integration. Everything is grounded in safety, experience, and a deep respect for the pace of each individual.

What we often see isn’t just insight, but a softening. A remembering of connection — to self, to others, to something beyond the usual noise of daily life.

We keep our groups intentionally small (maximum 8 people) so that each person is truly seen, supported, and held within the space.

If you’ve been feeling the nudge, or quietly curious about stepping into this kind of work, this may be the right moment.

In psychedelic work, music is not background. It is structure. It is movement. It is medicine alongside the medicine.

Carefully curated soundscapes help guide emotional flow — supporting moments of opening, grief, tenderness, fear, insight, and integration. At times, music can gently access memory when words cannot. It can soften resistance, anchor safety, or invite expansion.

We often describe it as the journey’s co-therapist.
So many who journey with psychedelics speak about the moment when the boundary between “me” and “the environment” softens. When the earth stops feeling external and begins to feel relational. Alive. Responsive. Part of us.

Gratitude to for the beautiful video - an expanded representation of the living, breathing environment that we often take for granted.
Under psilocybin, the brain doesn’t simply become “more active.” It becomes more connected.

This visual — inspired by research from the Beckley Foundation and Imperial College London — shows how communication between distant brain regions increases compared to a placebo state, measured through fMRI.

One key shift is the temporary relaxation of the default mode network (DMN): a system closely linked to self-referential thinking and the narrative sense of ego. When this network softens, new pathways of communication open. Regions that don’t usually “speak” begin exchanging information.

This expanded integration may help explain experiences often reported in psychedelic states — from novel perspectives and emotional release to synaesthetic perception and a felt sense of unity.

In our work, these moments of increased connectivity are not the goal in themselves. They are an opening: a window in which new patterns can be seen, felt, and gently integrated into everyday life.

The medicine shows possibilities.
Integration is where they become meaning.
Our 2026 schedule of small group retreats. Hosted at our secluded private practise in Amsterdam and the beautiful outside Culemborg đŸ€
In six weeks’ time, we’re grateful to be welcoming 50 passionate individuals to our 2026 cohort.

Across four months of online sessions (lectures, intervisions, and case studies) and three experiential retreats (attend one), our practitioner training covers the full arc of the psychedelic experience.

With a central focus on safety, ethics, and integrity, our Core training is designed to provide practitioners with grounded awareness, embodied confidence and a supportive community - the experience to bring this work into your personal and professional lives.

We still have a limited number of places available on the program. If you’re curious to find out more, we’d be happy to schedule a call.

At the heart of ETI we’re a small team who care deeply about this work - and about the people who choose to journey and train with us. Our backgrounds differ, but what we share is a deep commitment to holding space with integrity, curiosity and humanity. We’re privileged to do this work.
