#ad There’s just something about hotel brasseries. That perfect in-between: less formal than fine dining, more elevated than a cafĆ©. I wanted to bring that feeling to my apartment and the kitchen was the perfect place to start.

With a little help from The Home Depot, I gave this very basic kitchen a whole new personality. After using their wallpaper calculator to figure out exactly how many rolls I needed, I wrapped the cabinets and island in wood-grain contact paper. Contact paper is truly one of the easiest, most affordable ways to transform a space.

Then came the jewelry: brass handles, a foot rail, new outlet covers, under-cabinet lighting, even a fresh faucet. Small and easy upgrades with an immediate impact.

For a space where we cook, gather, and linger, the kitchen is usually the least designed. But with some DIY spirit and a few thoughtful swaps, this once-blank space now feels like our own little brasserie at home.

And all thanks to The Home Depot.

#EGAmbassador I’ll always have a soft spot for a hotel but when it comes to getting everyone around one table, that’s easier said than done… especially with a family my size. That’s why we chose to book a that didn’t just have space, it had seven oversized tables. Each one different, each one with its own personality, all of them giving us somewhere to sit, gather, and create memories together under one roof.

So, while you’re browsing through fabulous properties for your next stay, here’s how you can bring the feeling home in the immediate. In a smaller space, choose a table with a leaf. It stretches when it needs to, making room for an extra chair, another place setting, and one more conversation that lingers longer than planned.

Because just like, the spaces we remember most are the ones that make room for everyone.
Today felt like the right time to finally time to take down all of our Christmas decor šŸø

As we prep for this new year, I can’t help but thank my favorite person on the planet. I’m so lucky to have the most supportive, kind, and thoughtful partner. Never complains about my silly ideas, always willing to help, the first to wipe my tears, and the first to make a martini.

Sappy, but it’s truešŸ™ˆšŸ˜©

In 2025, like every year before it, I designed my home as a reflection of my soul.
A lifelong love of boutique hotels, lived experiences, original ideas, and the stories they hold.

Somewhere along the way, that authenticity turned into something others connected with and even replicated. It became trendy, but its origins were deeply personal for me.

As more spaces begin to borrow from the language of hotels, I’m reminded that the most timeless design choice is staying honest to yourself and your lived experience. That never goes out of style.

Here’s to 2026. To pouring into my space, my people, and whatever this home becomes next šŸø

#brooksbrotherspartner Dressed for the season in pieces that never go out of style. Christmas at home, wrapped in tradition, craftsmanship, and

Merry Christmas!
#brooksbrotherspartner Thirty minutes to go and somehow, that’s when everything really comes together. The countdown before a holiday party is always a little chaotic, but that’s when the game faces come on. The tiny details, the last touches, the moments you almost forget…those are what people remember.

First things first: the outfit. These two pieces were made for hosting. Not only was it the richest jewel tone, it was effortlessly polished. Next, a welcome drink station. Every guest deserves to be greeted with a little holiday cheer (preferably champs).

Then, thank-you gifts. Because showing up matters, and a small personalized touch goes a long way. We added their faces to Shrek and put them in mini frames. And of course, an oversized food tower filled with caviar. Thirty minutes later, we’re ready for the best part: everyone walking through the door.

From planning to party, this night was wrapped in Brooks Brothers. Timeless, elevated, and designed for moments worth celebrating.
I found these beauties at the thrift store this week.

Thrifting during the holidays is trickier than normal. Everything is pretty picked over, the stores are packed, and everyone is trying to get their homes right before guests arrive.

But still, I was able to secure these gems 🄹

Will this be my final thrift trip of the year…

Today’s Hotel Guest:

Our bedroom got the holiday treatment… and so did we.

Head-to-toe Brooks Brothers, because they’ve been setting the standard in craftsmanship and heritage for over 200 years. There’s a confidence that comes with wearing a brand that’s dressed generations. Every piece is timeless, filled with details that still feel fresh and quality you can feel the second you put it on.

They’ve always understood that personal style carries meaning in every moment, from the big celebrations to nights at home.

Brooks Brothers is my go-to for holiday 2025. It should be yours too. #brooksbortherspartner
What a week it was šŸ„‚
This year’s Christmas theme: A Christmas Nightcap.

Fitting, since we’re hosting a holiday party at our very own ā€œhotel bar,ā€ aka our apartment. A nightcap is that final, cozy drink that ends an evening… so what better vibe for wrapping up the year?

First step: invites. I hopped on and designed hotel key cards with our family crest, plus an actual key card tucked inside that guests will turn in for a gift. And because I love a moment, each one has a QR code that takes you straight to the party details on.

Then came decor. Remember the giant bow from last year? I hated it. So I chopped it up, kept the velvet, added fringe, and turned it into curtains. Instant upgrade and the perfect speakeasy entrance. I also ran 14-inch ribbon across the ceilings for a little drama.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a hotel lobby without my plethora of trees.

One room down. Two more to go.
