I’m slowly reshaping what touring can mean for me as a musician, moving away from the fast, capitalistic model where you arrive, play, and leave, and toward something rooted in presence, reciprocity, and learning.
Mexico tour was such a holistic experience. Three cities in one week, and so much happening beyond the concerts: visiting a school and learning about children’s education, experiencing a local festival, listening and learning from traditional music from the south of México, and sharing time with people who made space for real exchange.
So grateful to everyone who accompanied and supported this journey. And especially grateful to Perla and Andrés, with whom I’m learning how to imagine and build new, sustainable, human ways of touring and reshaping our understanding of music industry and service.
