Students in P1–P7 took part in an engaging online assembly and follow-up classroom activities, helping them build confidence in recognising safe and unsafe situations, and understanding how to ask for help.
With two-day walking expeditions, canoeing, camping, and visits to the historic sites and scenery of the Cairngorms National Park, alongside many more activities, they will definitely have a story or two to share!

Many of them have never been sailing before, but by the end of the day with sailing and paddleboarding in the Firth of Forth, they were ready to sail to Fife. ⛵

Students learned about Anna’s journey as a writer and the inspiration behind her stories, before taking part in fun word games and inventing their very own “nonsense” words.
It was brilliant to welcome Anna and Matthew to the School - we’re sure the visit inspired plenty of budding young storytellers! 😄
From canoeing and kayaking to archery and raft building, they’ve taken on a packed programme of activities. Some even camped out overnight, cooking their own dinner from scratch.
A brilliant mix of challenge, teamwork and plenty of memorable moments so far!
With a team of more than 40 enthusiastic student librarians, regular visits from inspiring authors and a wide range of activities that encourage reading for pleasure, Miss Lauren Thow, Senior School Librarian, helps ensure the school’s reading culture remains vibrant and open to everyone.
