At first there’s a huge learning curve with processing what your brain is seeing on the wall vs what it’s telling your hand to do, but then it all clicks.
Using technology as a tool for murals is such a game changer when you need to work quicker and more efficiently.
And when you’re running an art business, time = money, so why not work smarter and not harder?
I love using VR to sketch now, and since embracing it over the past year or so, I feel it’s significantly helped level up my mural work and my mural process.

New piece for a new collector, and friend,. Craig came to me to create something that would add joy and positive energy to his new space. We worked together to come up with a design that was fresh and vibrant, a little bit Southwestern, with focus on warm colors, particularly yellows and oranges - his power colors. I love complementary colors, so I made sure to add some cool purples and teals to balance all of the warmth, and as soon as we hung this on his wall, it did its job and enhanced the space with a joyful energy that was felt instantly.
Thanks Craig for commissioning such a next level piece. And may this image act as a reminder that all of us can create joy from the abundance within ourselves.
