Not only is this palette beautiful, but it is also very sentimental to me. I lived in Germany for 6 years as a teenager and 2 of those years were in Nürnberg, home of one of the oldest and most famous Christkindlmarkts!
I remember wandering the freezing cold nighttime Christmas market with my family, eating Nürnberger brats on brötchen and drinking warm and spicy Glühwein as we browsed the stalls filled with wooden ornaments, candy and toys.
This palette brought back a flood of cherished memories - the artwork, shade names and colors are all perfectly on theme! And I was delighted to discover the little windows on the box designed to look like a German Advent Calendar!

Pro Tips:
•Visit early in the season and either before 7pm or after 9pm in the evening to avoid longer lines at the entrance
•Make sure your entire party is in your car before getting in line - Once in line, there is nowhere to park and switch cars
• Bring snacks, tablets and toys to occupy your kids and make sure everyone takes a bathroom break before getting in line. The wait in the car to get to the entrance can take a while during peak hours- IT IS WORTH IT, though!
