I’ve donated a small original artwork to this year’s Habitats & Heritage Secret Art Auction, which closes tomorrow, Saturday 3rd October at 10pm UK time.
The auction is a lovely concept: all works are shown anonymously until bidding closes, so collectors are choosing purely based on the artwork itself. Bidding starts at £35, and this year there are 286 original artworks in the auction from 162 artists, including members of the Royal Academy and a broad mix of established artists and illustrators.
All proceeds support Habitats & Heritage, a charity working to protect and enhance natural and historic environments across south and west London.
My piece is an A5 original, unframed and signed on the back, in keeping with the auction format. The artist identities are revealed after the auction closes.

It’s been a long time coming and I’m finally ready to share some new work with you.
I’ve felt the need to step back from a strictly photorealistic-surrealist practice. Needing to get my hands and clothes messy. Throw some paint around again. Be in mystery. Let the painting unfold in the moment.
For 6 years, I’ve known exactly how each painting will be completed because they’ve been planned in advance. And I have been longing for a while now to simply surrender to the process and let the current take me.

The first few years were spent creating early impressions - focusing on refining my signature style and unifying a body of work. Year by year I inched closer to the vision.
And when this artwork was created in 2024, a decade after I’d first seen the vision, I realised I’d brought it to life.
And it was even greater than I’d envisioned it to be.
For my 10 Year Retrospective, I’ve curated a total of 20 artworks from the entire span of my art practice and offering them during my Timed Print Release. This artwork is included, and will be available from July 16th - 30th x
