Qué feliz me siento de haber podido pintar en casa, en mi querida Barcelona, el que ahora pasa a ser uno de los murales de mayor formato de la ciudad.
El mural rinde homenaje al "Teatro Talía", que ocupó ese mismo lugar hasta su demolición tras un incendio en los años 90. La obra se centra el final de una función, evocando nostalgia por lo vivido, pero abriendo paso a nuevos comienzos. Así como el fin de la función da lugar a nuevas obras, este solar ha renacido varias veces gracias al esfuerzo vecinal por dignificarlo.
Este proyecto ha sido comisariado y producido por, que ha hecho un gran trabajo (pese a las dificultades climáticas). Por otra parte, gracias por documentar de forma tan brillante todo el proceso (las fotos 4,5 y 6 son suyas). Gracias también a, a por dejarse retratar, al Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, y a todas las entidades del barrio que han hecho posible el proyecto (las nombro al final del post) y a los propios vecinos.
