We are incredibly honored to be named the 2026 Margarita Mania Battle Champion and want to thank everyone who stopped by our table, tasted our margarita, our Quesabirrias and voted for us. Your support means everything to our family and team.
Jamaica me Crazy margarita was created by our talented Bar Director,, featuring Milagro Tequila and showcasing the creativity and passion that drives our beverage program at Xelas.
And of course, we couldn’t forget the food! Guests also enjoyed our signature Quesabirria Tacos, prepared by and the El Sazón team, bringing together the flavors that have become a staple of our restaurants.
A special thank you to for hosting another incredible GrillFest and giving us the opportunity to share what we love with so many people. It was amazing to see familiar faces, meet new supporters, and celebrate Minnesota’s food and beverage community together.

To Cristian, this neighborhood is what America is - a fun community where people from different parts of the world come together. When federal agents occupied the area, he and many in the neighborhood felt attacked. But people rallied together, fought for each other, and showed up.
SPEAK MPLS sat down with Cristian to talk about the diversity that makes this neighborhood special, what it meant to feel Minnesota come together during crisis, and why we're better when we recognize we're all human.
